Bridget Nelson
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Bridget currently teaches history and psychology at the AP level at Whitney Young High School, a selective enrollment high school in Chicago. Bridget is a certified Executive Function Coach, certified through the Seeing My Time® program. She’s originally from Rochester, NY. Bridget brings many years of experience helping students with college essays and admissions. She helps with lots of things around GES, especially with essay development!
Rowan Martey
Rowan has had many roles at GES—first client, then intern, now team member! She is a 2026 graduate of Dartmouth College, a double major in cognitive science (studying time and memory) and film. She is a competitive figure skater, placing in the top 4 at nationals the last two years, and skates professionally for Disney. While at Dartmouth, Rowan worked as a campus tour guide and helped manage Dartmouth’s admissions media page. At GES, Rowan helps with essay development, drafting, and marketing.
Esther Detweiler
A former GES client originally from Chicago, Esther is a sophomore at University of Michigan, a member of the LSA Honors College, and is considering double majoring in History and History of Art. At GES, Esther helps with activities and honors lists, supplemental essays, and behind-the-scenes organization.
Reina Murillo González

Stephanie has taught creative writing and news writing at CSU in Fort Collins, Colorado, and currently teaches World Mythology and Film Art studies at Aims Community College. She holds an MFA in fiction and publishes nationally. She also holds an M.Ed. in narrative learning and adult literacy and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Media Studies. Stephanie has worked as a professional editor and copywriter. She enjoys helping students discover what they want to say and develop a distinct voice . Stephanie is an avid reader and film lover and can often be found working in her garden.
Stephanie Smith
Reina is a business professional in the Chicagoland area with more than 20 years of experience in administration, client success, and process improvement. At GES, she works to keep systems organized and efficient so Cameron and the team can focus fully on students and families. She manages administrative processes, structures resources, and builds tools that simplify day-to-day operations. Reina brings both structure and care to her work, making the student experience seamless and allowing students to concentrate on preparing for their next chapter in college.
Robin is an accomplished events, education, and administrative professional with more than 20 years of experience creating meaningful moments, leading operations, and fostering connections that drive impact. As an independent college and career consultant, Robin pairs strategic thinking with a people-first mindset and a focus on turning vision into action. Robin holds a Master of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Roosevelt University and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). Robin is passionate about leadership, service, mentorship, and helping others reach their full potential.
